Incidents antérieurs

Comme à l'habitude, mercredi prochain Koumbit procèdera à une journée de mises à jours sur les plateformes Drupal pour coïncider avec la journée de publication de correctifs de sécurité du projet Drupal.

Cependant, suite à la publication d'une annonce de mise à jour de sécurité hautement critique de la part du projet Drupal, nous tenons à vous prévenir que nous allons appliquer ce correctif le plus rapidement possible après sa sortie, en milieu d'après-midi ce mercredi le 28 mars.

La nature du correctif n'est pas encore connue, mais selon l'annonce, il est important qu'on applique le correctif rapidement. Le problème de sécurité s'applique tant à Drupal 7 qu'à Drupal 8. Vous pouvez consulter l'avis émis par le projet Drupal (en anglais) ici:

Critical patch to Drupal 7 and 8 on wednesday 28th

As usual, this Wednesday Koumbit will proceed with Drupal platform upgrades in coordination with the publication day for the Drupal project's security patches.

However, since the Drupal project announced last week that there will be a highly critical security patch disclosed, we want to inform you that we will be applying this security patch as fast as possible during the afternoon of Wednesday, March 28th.

The exact nature of the security issue is still not known but according to the announcement it is important that we apply the patch as soon as possible. The security issue affects both Drupal 7 and 8. You can consult the announcement that was published by the Drupal project here:

Qui est affecté

Tous les utilisateurs du service d'hébergement auto-géré seront affectés, autant les services de panneau de contrôle HAG (https://bureau.koumbit.net/), les courriels, les listes de discussions et les sites seront hors-service pendant la période de maintenance.

Quand

La maintenance aura lieu le lundi 26 mars 2018 entre 20:00 HAE et 20:10

Si l'intervention devait dépasser le temps alloué, une nouvelle annonce sera communiquée ici.

Ce qui va arriver

Une opération de maintenance est planifiée sur le serveur de base de données (mysql.koumbit.net) pour permettre l'ajout d'une couche d'encryption sur l'espace de stockage.

Pourquoi

Pour augmenter la sécurité des données sur l'espace de stockage.

Comment

Technique, on allons procéder à la rotation entre le serveur primaire et secondaire du service de base de données.

Maintenance planned on the database service of HAG 2018/03/26 @ 20h00-20h10

Who is affected

All users of the shared hosting (HAG) will be affected, and the services of the shared hosting control panel (https://bureau.koumbit.net/), emails, discussion lists, and websites will be out of service during the maintenance period.

When this will happen

The maintenance will take place this Monday, March 26th 2018 between 8pm and 8:10pm EST.

If the operation ends up being longer than expected, a new announcement will be made here.

What will happen

The maintenance intervention is planned on the database server (mysql.koumbit.net), to allow for an encryption layer to be added to the disk storage.

Why

To increse the security of the data stored on the disks of the server.

How

We are going to carry out a rotation of the primary and secondary database server for our shared hosting service.
