Toutes les utilisatrices et utilisateurs de services se basant sur l'authentification LDAP. Ceci touche surtout le service d'hébergement partagé Aegir: le panneau de contrôle devriendra inaccessible mais les sites web eux-même devraient continuer d'être accessibles.

Mardi 11 décembre de 18:00 à 21:00 EST. Des coupures allant jusqu'à 30 minutes sont à prévoir durant cette plage horaire.

Ce qui va arriver
Nous allons procéder à la mise à jour du système d'exploitation à la version "jessie" de Debian.
Pourquoi
Nous avions précédemment décidé d'annuler cette opération en faveur d'une réinstallation mais de nouvelles contraintes se sont présentées et demandent d'avoir un système un peu plus à jour rapidement pour permettre de continuer d'opérer certains services connexes. Le passage à la version "stretch" de Debian se fera via une réinstallation comme initialement prévu, mais à un moment futur.

Who is affected
All users of services that use LDAP for authentication. This mainly has an effect on the Aegir-based Drupal shared hosting service: the control panel will become unavailable but the websites themselves should continue to respond.
When this will happen
Tuesday december 11th from 6 to 9 PM. Outages of up to 30mins at a time should be expected during this time frame.

What will happen
We will upgrade the server's operating system to get to the Debian release named "jessie".
Why
We have previously decided to cancel this maintenance to favor a reinstallation of the service but new constraints showed up and we now need to upgrade soon in order to keep certain ... services working. The final upgrade to Debian "stretch" will be done with a reinstallation but at a later date as was originally planned.
